Do instagram followers help grow a connected facebook page?

Hey guys, i need your help, im running an instagram page with 100k followers and im planning to connect it to a new facebook page, i know instagram followers dont automatically transfer to the new created facebook page, but im trying to understand:

- Do i get any benefits or algorithm boost on facebook after linking the accounts?
- Have you noticed fb recommending your page more because ig is big?
- Does cross-posting from ig to fb help the fb page grow faster?
- Has anyone here tested this setup and seen any results (good or bad)?

Looking for real experiences, growth tests, or any insights you can share.

I have tried this setup a few times, and from what I have seen, linking a big IG to a fresh FB page does not give any direct algorithm boost on Facebook. They are connected on the backend, but the followers do not carry over in any way.


The only real benefit is cross-posting. When you push your IG content to FB automatically, it helps the FB page stay active, and that activity can slowly bring in some organic reach. It is not fast, but it is better than starting with zero posts.


If your IG content already performs well, the same posts usually do fine on FB too, but do not expect a huge jump just because IG is big. FB still needs its own engagement.


So yeah, linking the accounts helps mainly for convenience and consistent posting, but I would not expect any magic boost from the follower count alone.

as a user of both facebook and instagram, i find that this link can promote curiosity and transfer interaction from insta page to facebook page, however not much, this method does not bring too much interaction effect
 
It helps with cross posting, managing messages, keeping the page active which can slowly grow reach. Dont expect instant follower transfer or major algorithm favors.
 
u get mild algo boost first week, mostly for engagement sync. fb treats linked ig as fresh but credible. best play cross-post reels manually, tweak tone. don’t expect follower flow, only signal weight. fb reward consistent posts, not shared links.
 
i've not tried something on my own but definately it will benefit you directly or indirectly if you are cross posting then the followers on your ig wants to check out your fb because they are already your people they follow on you on ig you have something for which they follow you .
another you can do is make a post for instagram about telling your audience that this is my fb page and if you think i'm providing you with value and entertainment then you can also check my fb page .
