Do .info names suck?

I have been using .info on a few sites. I have a few credits from GoDaddy for free hosting. I use the free hosting for a few sites, the only bad thing is that you get a GoDaddy banner at the top. It seems to work for a few sites noone is going away just because it is a free site, I seem to be getting a good click through rate. Anyone else using the free hosting at GoDadddy?

vmedia is right - there is a lot of money to be made using them... especially with a service like what we offer (look at my sig).
In all honesty... there is no real 'serp power' in .com that isn't also in .info.

sell them onto thre *.com owners for a profit. Most will buy for a decent ammount if you can show you're getting targeted traffic in a decent volume. That traffic can make them alot of money =].
But i was always under the impression .com domains had a higher 'weight', guess its just cos they're common and my mind picked a pattern i guess!
Might have to buy a few tonight!

I use'em and abuse'em as often as I can. I guess it really boils down to what you intend to use them for.
it depends on what you are using them for. Some ad providers decrease their overall quality score if the domain is .info (or has dashes, misspellings or numbers in it). Despite this, it does not get you blackballed and as people above report no adverse effects in SERP, use them if you need to. Not much to lose.

hey domain is a domain. You can make the same amount of money that you earn in dot coms and nets. Just depends on how much work you put on it.

I read an ebook, where the guy claimed that he would buy the .info domain to promote affiliate programs. So for productlaunch.com he bought productlaunch.info or something like that. Then he promoted it on google and managed to make a couple thousand $. 
It depends what they are used for.
In fact they are recommended if you are creating MFA sites
because of the sheer volume of domains you will have to buy
and to keep the cost low.All the more as these type of sites
have a short life span.
If you want to brand a domain with a catchy phrase or easy to
remember term then I would go for com as most surfers will assume
that the domain will end with a com.

GD isn't that suck IMHO, if you need to buy that much amount of domains, gd is your only choice since they are the lowest in price now for .info
