I was just wondering if someone could clarify this for me.

If I post an image on a forum/website and the image url is from my website will I get a backlink from it? I've looked at the page source and the link is there but I just wanted to see if this actually works as it seems like a very easy way to get a link without getting your post removed?

Thanks

YES. And pic backlinks is very good for google becouse have different type. One more secret is you can do it with a smile icon and nobody will think that you are spamming.

Thanks for this, didn't know about that with an emoji :D

That's good idea, but a lot of forums engines use bbcodes or another pseudo codes when you go to the post form. That's why they don't let you to insert any html code there.
