Using image links are as good as plain text for seo?.
Image links are eye-catching but I am not sure if they are as good as plain link text for google.
For instace, in forum signature an image linking back to our site may draw more attention than plain text but as backlinks I do not know if they are as effective as plain text in the eyes of google.

only the google team know the real value of them, but properly optimized unique images do add a lot of value

Forum links are no-follow so I'm not sure any would add any value.
As for html you could add alt text to your images.

Image links are not as good as a text link on the same page.

Some text links are of poor value and so an image link that is on a high quality page will be more valuable than said text link. Text is usually valuable because it you have the change to wrap a high quality article around your link, adding much more value to the user.

Try use text links where possible, but make sure you mix it up and keep it natural.

Most, not all.

Linking to the Raw URL (Domain) is more valued than linking to Image & text.
Google may see the image links as banner ads... Advertorials :) So optimize image link to not to look as like site-wide links.

It's still a link, though the image is pretty much the anchor text, so it might not be as effective as a regular link. Though if you're looking for some variation, I'd say having a few image links isn't a bad thing.

Image links are great. They are more or less neutral and Google provides link juice to your landing page title. Make sure to leave alt tag and title empty to avoid looking spammy.

They carry more link juice than regular links.

A type of link, must be have some values in there.

They do count when it comes to diversification, especially if they are do-follow.

It is always good to get a link whenever you can (of it's from a good site). A few backlink analysis companies even use it as a metric, like ahrefs.

Image links do have some value but imo it is less value than direct in content links.

image links provides great link variety but making too many links from images is not a good idea.

I don't care about forum signature link juice value, unless I'm getting targeted traffic that really converts. So, who cares? :)

yeah its countable link. But according to my opinion Text link is best.
In olden days many of them are using reciprocal links for banners / logos.

All sorts of links count, image and video links should give your website a natural backlink profile.

Good toknow thet count. thx.
