I am a new user to gsa ser. I bought proxies, catcha solver and now want to run 3-5 project at a time. Want to build at most 100 links per day. Do I need vps for this.
Also when and why I need vps to use while building links through gsa ser.

VPS is good when you want to run GSA SER for 24/7 and at a specific velocity. Lets say 10 verified links per day for 10 days. The VPS helps you to make things automated. You won't need to leave your PC/Laptop running all the time. If you have second PC/Laptop, where you run it, it would be enough.

If you are using your PC/Laptop every day and only work on a handful projects its not worth it to get a VPS in my opinion. These days I am running about 150 projects at the same time, for that I need a VPS. With 5 projects I would just stick to my PC and run it in the background for a few hours per day.

VPS is great since it has high download speeds. Running GSA on your computer with low download speeds won't allow you to run a lot of threads

You should never expose your local computer with this type of software. Remember that you are automatically crawling the web so you are exposed to some threats. Also, if you forget to configure adequately the proxies, you are also exposed to leak your info. Generally, it is better to run this from a VPS, or at least from a Virtual Machine in your own computer in a subnet.
