Do I need to worry about service based ads?

From what I’ve seen, even service-based offers are facing performance drops lately. It’s not limited to product ads. Could be due to broader Meta issues or algo shifts. Testing with small budgets first is probably the safest move right now.

Some online stores using Metas Advantage+ Shopping saw their returns drop in March/April when Metas AI had a glitch. But local service businesses are still getting good results.

What I'm seeing for local services (within 20 miles):
- Cost per click: $2-$3
- Cost per lead: $18-$30 for landscapers, HVAC, remodeling
- Conversion rate: Instant-form or call ads convert about 9% on average

Comparison: Google Local Service Ads cost $80-$100 per lead in the same areas

Facebook is still a great platform for effective marketing.
Although it is getting harder, it helps to filter out amateur advertisers.

Meta is good as on facebook are probably the most peoples and you can find wide range of peoples and have a long history of advertiser using the platform

I see that recently running FB ads for all products has not brought good results as expected. The ads do not get high interaction.

If targeted, local campaigns can still deliver solid ROI even in the current climate.
