Solid advice, been getting the "Woah There, Pardner!" error a lot with cheaper proxies lately. The answer is yes, you need a proxy, and you need a good one.
When I first started, my proxies were not good and it caused a lot of issues. Captchas/random sites not allowing you to visit is the easiest way to tell if they are good. Try to go to Reddit, Etsy, Google, Facebook, etc and see if they allow you there before trying to log into Reddit.
Reddit will know IP and device unless you mask them.
So the 2nd important step is masking your device with anti detect browser.

Correct. A proxy is not enough if it’s low quality. You need a clean one and testing like this is the best way to tell whether your proxy is powerful enough. The answer is yes, you need a proxy, and you need a good one.
