Do i need to submit my blog for indexing

Hi, am new to blogging and have started creating some web 2.0s. Do I need to submit them to some site so that they will be indexed on search engines. If so can you tell me how?

built backlink to them. they don't index easy alone .....
 
Make sure that you register your site with all of the major search engines, google, bing etc. You can try building up backlinks by registering with blog directories, some are free and some you pay for. I would try as many free ones as you can to build up backlinks back to your site. Watch out for the ones the demand a fee though as many of them are just mickey mouse and won;t do much for your site's standing. One worth paying for would be Yahoo - it's expensive and they may not even get round to doing it (!) but i have sites registered there and it really has improved their searchability.

After this, keep getting as many sites to link back to your as you can - work hard and you will see the results!

Actually, if you have a few links, submitting your site is not needed.
I almost never submit my new websites to Google.
Just post your link on a few web2.0s or SocialMedia and it will be indexed within a few hours.
 
I only use indexers with GSA. sometimes when i created web2.0, if you have a suscription, I just include homepage and sitemap, if you have one, to my indexing service
 
you sure do. there are a few mass index listers out there. just google them and you'll come up with a good list.
 
you can ping your site out, i use pingfarm.com it's free and it'll let the search engines know about your site

start to build links to yours site, try to use unique content. also you can use social media to quick indexing.
 
if you need fast indexing you need to submit the links to Google by visiting Google.com/addurl
 
like what majority says start build links to your site and avoid spin/copy content
 
Any website in the world, Should be submitted to search engines properly, Whether get auto index or not. That's not an issue.

But we should do it on proper way.
 
add your site on webmaster tools and submit your URL to fetch :)
 
Post unique content and high PR links in do-follow sites. And use webmaster tool for indexing process
