I recently updated the urls of my blog pages. Now google has the older url indexed which leads to a broken page.

Is there anything I need to do?

Okay Ill get on that. Now Im not sure what to do. I went into the google console and submitted the links to be indexed again.

This is fine. Wait for some time to index the new pages :)

Hello,

Off-course, you need to use the robots meta-element with NoIndex or use the Google Search Console...
If you think these are tough to do, just remove the broken page..

redirect the old urls to the new ones,
then send the old ones/sitemap to GSC so they will recrawl and get the redirect

Use the 301 redirect plugin and redirect the page to a new page or you don't have a new page then redirect it to the homepage.

Done, no need to submit for indexing again, Google will crawl it naturally and your problem will be solved.

Appreciate the help guys. I downloaded the plugin Rafark recommened and set everything up. Man that was easier than I thought. Have a great week gents!
