I recently updated the urls of my blog pages. Now google has the older url indexed which leads to a broken page.
Is there anything I need to do?

You should 301 redirect the old broken URLs to the new ones.

Okay Ill get on that. Now Im not sure what to do. I went into the google console and submitted the links to be indexed again.

Off-course, you need to use the robots meta-element with NoIndex or use the Google Search Console...
If you think these are tough to do, just remove the broken page..

As said above, this is a common case and you should redirect the URLs. If you’re using Wordpress, most people use this plugin:

Appreciate the help guys. I downloaded the plugin Rafark recommened and set everything up. Man that was easier than I thought. Have a great week gents!
