Do i need to plan categories ahead?

Hi guys,
I'm starting a blog and was wondering if I can change or add categories to the menu in the future in terms of SEO fuck up.

I'm asking this as I'm not 100% sure in which direction my blog will evolve and hope for some tips on this.

Appreciate any help!
