Do i need to cloak my site?

Hello everybody,

I really need your help with this.

I have a news-site and i receive all the messages, and also the same content, from a big news site with RSS.

Do i need to cloak my site to get better ranked in the SE, especially G?
Im now pretty good indexed in Alexa, top 2500 in the Netherlands.

I am receiving from every post, which are 10 in an hour, 15 visitors. So that makes it 15x10=150 visitors a hour. Where there are probably just 15 unique visitors.

The problem with this site is, that it is very difficult to make this site a good seo technical site.
Because every 6 minutes, there will be a new incoming message. I just have 6 category pages that are not changing, but i also can't provide information on this pages because it simply is a category from all the old news.

Please can someone advise me with this.

Usually people cloak a scraper site so visitors go direct to the offer instead of seeing the ugly content on the scraped pages...

it seems like you are asking to do the reverse -- show spiders different content and show regular visitors the scraper pages. Why?

Cloaking isn't an SEO technique per se. It's a traffic delivery mechanism. In the hey-day of scrapers and page generators you could generate a site with good on page SEO factors that Google, etc. would love. You'd cloak this site to get visitors direct to the affiliate/CPA offer -- but still let Google see the on page scraped content.

Thank you for your reply, but man you are talking too technical here! Im a newbie!

Cloaking is more like to hurt than help with G. They factored all the basic cloaking tactics into their algorithms years ago, and now you'd get punished for it.
