Do I Need Spyder Spanker Pro

I just bought the Spyder Spanker plugin to hide my PBN but now there's an upsell for the PRO version.

Is this necessary? It says you need the pro version to stop Open Site Explorer / Moz. Not sure if this is the case.

Please advise.

No, you can use the free plugin SpiderBlocker from WordPress.org.

It is good to avoid using same plugin in all PBN site. Additionally, you don't need any plugin to block bots from accessing your site. Search for htaccess code to block bad bots

The above plugin has no footprint and it edits htaccess to block bots. It helps to read before commenting.

Bought Spyder Spanker Pro (unlimited sites ) several years ago, in the beginning it was good, but stopped maybe 2 years ago, because the developer is no longer maintaining the software, no updates for over 2 years.
Dont waste your money, just get the code and edit your htaccess yourself.
