Do I need semrush?? Having problems...

Hi guys I'm thinking of starting my first amazon associates site and I think I might have found a niche. However i'm very new to seo and keyword competitiveness. I keep reading around how good semrush is for this and how easy it is to come up with keywords that I might have not otherwise.

So here's my problem i'm from the UK and so within the EU. They must charge vat if your from an EU country which I completely get, however you need a VAT number to actually pay for the product and guess what ... hmrc won't give me one as they only give out vat numbers for trading purposes. So i'm left wondering is it worth it? Does anyone know of an alternative? I have long tail pro and while it's awesome it obviously hasn't got backlink checker etc.

but you clearly are talking out of your anus, if making money from amazon does not enable you to register VAT then you spoke to the wrong person.

Any self employed person or company can volunteer to register for VAT.

What exactly did you ask HMRC?

Hi I literally asked how I'd go about registering for a vat number, the lady I spoke to asked why I wanted one , told her it was in order to buy a software product, now I think about it I should have said it was for a website I wanted to create. Thing is as of now i'm not self employed, i've made no money from any website or only venture. I think I should start again then....how would i go about telling the next person so i don't get too many questions??

Yes, this is a good option for trying it. If you search in fiverr you could even find private account for cheaper price.
