I got a dynamic IP that changes when I switch the router on and off, do I still need proxies for reddit in this case?

If you're using a dynamic IP that changes every time you restart your router, you're likely in a better position than someone with a static IP, since the IP address refreshes and changes regularly. That said, whether you need proxies for Reddit depends on what you're doing.

I’ve tried using only a dynamic IP before and it works fine for light usage. If you’re just running a couple of accounts and not doing anything too aggressive, switching the router is usually enough. Once you start scaling or need to run multiple accounts at the same time, proxies become a safer option.

No, because you will get different IPs. Even that, you still need an antidetect browser, to change your browser fingerprints.

There's a chance that some of the IP's that you used in the past get reassigned to you again in the future, and if that happens, Reddit will detect it and it might ban you, depending on what you've been doing. A high quality proxy list that you have control over tends to be better and still needed in this line of work. But you can get by without it. It's just that there is a risk to it.

If your ip changes every time you restart your router, that can work for low scale usage. But for long term consistency and higher account volumes, proxies are still more reliable since they give you stable, dedicated Ips. It depends on how many accounts you’re running and how often you need them active.

It didn't work either way, account got banned now with anti detect browser and clean IPs.. considering selling my social listening tool when I upgrade account.

Sorry to hear that, reddit is super strict lately. even with clean Ips and anti detect setups, bans can still happen if activity looks unusual. Maybe try warming up accounts slowly and mixing in some natural engagement before going full scale. Don’t give up too quickly, tools like yours can still be valuable with the right setup.
Dynamic IP has worked fine for me, but if you’re running heavy or multiple accounts, proxies are safer
A dynamic IP helps, but Reddit can still detect patterns within the same IP range. For serious or long-term account management, proxies are more reliable.

Honestly I dont want to deal with proxies and all that stuff so I won't bother with reddit anymore, I'm just going to sell my social listening tool here at some point if there is enough demand for it.

Your browser cookie and your device info don't change. You need proxy and another device info for multi account

If it changes the IP you are fine even with multiple accounts just keep in mind before you enter an acc you have to be on a different IP
