Do I Need Proxies For Managing 10-20 Accounts

I'm currently using 4-5 accounts on each of Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook and Instagram but over the coming year I'll be expanding to between 10 and 20 on each social network (closer to 10). I'd like to avoid having to use proxies if possible - is it necessary when dealing with these kind of numbers of accounts? If not, how many Twitter accounts for instance could you have before using proxies would be necessary (I just followliker on my 4 twitter accounts for instance).

On Instagram you'll get problems with that amount of accounts. Better going for 3-4 per ip to play ist safe.

I use 3 accounts per proxy, some more on my regular ip I think I have 5 account's on my regular ip

5 is the max per "clean" IP. try to use for an account an IP from the same region. The IP can be different, but same geo-location
