im a noob, so i dont really understand how proxies work. i want to use gmail, i know they show your IP in the header. would HTTP proxies be enough? or i need Socks proxies?
I've always heard that if you are going to be using a software based mailer that sends through SMTP, you should use SOCKS proxies. However finding good smtp-enabled SOCKS proxies for a cheap rate is not easy to do. Most places charge alot more for them than HTTP proxies.
