Do I lose link juice if I link to image url?

So I just asked myself if I have a page with 30 images and all images link towards the image url: something.png. Is there a risk of losing link juice if I include a link toward an article: article.html?

You don't "lose" link juice by out-linking.

If you have links out to 30 images and 1 url on a page you aren't losing anything.

A long time ago, Matt cutts pretended that links to images were considered as normal links.
