Do i have to pay tax ? [India]

If your income during the past financial year has exceeded 2.5lakhs then you fall in the taxable slab. For example, If your income was 3.5lakhs. then your taxable income is 3.5-2.5=1 lakh INR. From this taxable income you can deduct your expenses. I guess this is how it works. Verify with someone who knows the taxation and then you are all set to file your own taxes.
Perfect Bro

Who said government isn't aware of the things happening. Didn't they recently imposed taxes on adwords users. Also many of the government sites have adsense and affiliate links now a days take an example of railway booking.

Instead of doing things on own, Better consult a CA explain him in brief what you do, Also you will have to share almost all your payment related things with him (Paypal accounts and others.)
As he will help you in lowering down things by adjusting things.

Cheers

why not fly to HK as a tourist, open bank and paypal while staying in hostels and then just receive everything there? indian passport can go to HK as tourist without visa

India already signed an agreement with Hong Kong to catch their tax evaders that use Hong Kong

You have to file income tax returns for your brother, because you are using his bank account to receive money.
what are other sources of income for your brother ?
whatever, whether he is a salaried person or doing other business, you have to show this income in the final computation of income.

Better to consult a tax practitioner, best to consider a Chartered Accountant.

fuck........... this changes evverything

Even tax planning is becoming harder to do, although its really more of a show than actual cracking down on that. Many countries now have or getting CFC rules where you need an office and staff in the other country to have it exempt from paying taxes in your home country. And then you need to be able to keep enough in the country, that you are saving more in taxes than the cost of the setup, and the amount of taxes you will pay for the salary you desire. Its no longer something that is cheap that the average person can do.

If you make good income then maybe think about setting up an account offshore in a place where you wouldn't have to pay taxes. There are countries like UAE etc where you wouldn't have to pay taxes if you set up an account in a free zone. Do your research and choose what's best for you.

If he is selling stuff while based in India, the money is considered earned in India, having an offshore company and bank account in UAE will not help. UAE is also another country that India has signed agreements with to catch tax evaders.

i think its going to become incredibly difficult, going forward. more and more it seems the only option left is banking identities
