Giving up anything within a week is going to equal a fail...

Why not build an email list for the demographics that will be most interested in your products?

So you can at least have multiple chances of making a sale.

Maybe you should give up this method and try something that won't cost so much or cost nothing.

I read the article by Franklin and thought it was a good way to start. I've been making money online for the past 3 years as a ghost producer, creating songs for artists and selling them but its dying down and needed something with a permanent income. I'm not sure what else to try. I need to read up on a lot of stuff but this one seemed rather self explanatory what to do and I thought my niche would have been a good one.

So, you've been at this a whole week and are thinking of throwing in the towel? Get a grip! You think anybody would get anywhere in life with that attitude. Nobody here cares whether you succeed or fail, you've gotta' make it happen. You've already made 1 sale, that's great! You know it can take years for offline stores to start turning a profit? Get your mindset right, grow a set of balls and come back when you're not feeling so sorry for yourself.

The worst title of the year. If you're a guy who quickly moves from one thing to another and gives up right away OR even asks someone if you should give up than you're not a true hustler. One of the screenshots I took earlier this morning by the way is "Have patience. Everything is difficult in the beginning".

My recommendations are to look around here for topics revolving around the same journey and how they overcome certain obstacles. You might even learn a thing or two. Don't be negative about any type of situation though, that will obviously get you to nowhere.

Within time, you can easily haggle more data by pushing volume.

Don't ever go by a weeks worth of stats.

I have a bit of advice so take it with a grain of salt as this is not my area of expertise (shopify + aliexpress).

1. You have spent money on facebook and google. Did you record the stats. Do you know which keywords were successful ? Were you bidding too high/too low ? Did your ads target your product to the right audience ?

2. $1.95 is cheap. How much is your profit when you take into account CTR's, Sales, etc. If you spent $10 to get 1 sale then you are going to lose out very quickly. Maybe your selling the wrong products. for instance if you targeted something at $15 and spent $10 to get a sale then you are in front. Most people think selling something cheap will be easier to do then selling something expensive but in reality the margins on a cheap item are not high enough to allow you to profit.

Personally I think you need to find a higher priced product and start again. 1 week should give you more than enough information on the likelyhood of the your ability to succeed at this and you seem to be leaking money and not getting the right information for it.

You thought that the ultimate affiliate product push thread by Franklin was easy money? This was your first major mistake. Just because you think you can throw up Facebook and Google ads that visitors will come and buy doesn't mean this is true. The visitors maybe targeted but they are showing no interest in your cheap products.

If so, I would try again with a product with better margins.

You've set your gross profit way too low for a start

I'd try a different method though, that ones a load of wnk in my opinion
