I would like to start a dropshipping journey but all the domain names I would like to use are already taken except for those with hyphens. Is it a problem having hyphens on domain name for shops?

I always try to avoid hyphens, try another tld

If you are selling hyphens then it is OK.

i don't think that is the issue. People will probably search for your brand name anyway, just make sure your site at least rank for your own brand name. But of course, if possible, avoid hyphens.

Avoid hyphens and stick to .com's

Personally, I'd go with a non hyphen version if possible. It's a clean url and user friendly.
