thanks for sharing your experiences i went through the replies and honestly results are quite interesting some of you have seen a boost while others saw little or no effect it looks like there is no clear answer and the results can vary from site to site I will keep testing on my side as well appreciate everyone who took the time to share their experience

I would not rely on hidden backlinks for seo they seem risky and can cause more problems than benefits I’d rather focus on relevant visible links and useful content for long term results
