I've seen people use tons of hashtags while others barely use any. Has anyone actually noticed a difference in reach?

In my opinion, using hashtags is a good idea because it helps TikTok understand the topic and context of the video, thereby distributing the video to the right audience.

I don’t think using hashtags on every video is particularly important these days. The content of the video itself is what really determines how well it performs.

to me hashtags are more like a labbel than a growth hack at the moment. it could help to understand what the topic is about but it will not fix a bad hook in a video. i would use 3-5 very appropriate hashtags nd focus on how to make viewers watch until the end.

I stopped using a ton of hashtags and honestly didn’t notice much difference. A few relevant ones are enough.

I has tried both and have not seen hashtags save any poorly made video. I tries to keeps mine on topic and minimal I thinks hook and watch time matter more.

i’ve found hashtags are more useful for giving TikTok context than for creating a big reach boost on their own I’d keep them relevant and use a few targeted ones while putting more effort into the hook watch time and overall content

Hashtags can help with discoverability, but using a lot of them doesn’t automatically mean more reach. I’d test a few relevant hashtags and compare the results rather than stuffing every post with them.

what i have got to understand is using it or not, if you are going to trend you will and its more about how people react to it

Imo hashtags do help with some categorization but they would not be able to salvage a bad video. i gets better outcomes when the hook and watch tym are doing all the work.

In my opinion you should use the hashtags as it makes the TikTok algorithm understand what your video is about through which your video will get dedicated audience. The hashtags should be relevant to the content of your video.Make sure to remember not to use very much hashtags only use necessary ones.

Yes hashtags still help on TikTok but they function differently than they used to. Instead of bringing massive viral reach on their own hashtags now primarily act as seo keywords that help TikTok algorithm categorize your video and show it to the right audience.

I think hashtags can still help TikTok videos reach a wider audience and make them easier to discover through search. Some people may not pay much attention to them, but I still find them useful.

imo hashtags are more like a label than a growth techniques at this particular point. i will include two that were appropriate for the subject but I does not anticipate it making a huge difference on its own.

Using too many hashtags only makes the post look cluttered and doesn't actually increase reach; 3-5 niche hashtags are enough.

Hashtags can still help with categorization and discovery, but I wouldn’t expect adding more of them to automatically increase reach. Testing a small set of highly relevant hashtags across similar posts and comparing the results should give a better answer for your specific account.

I think fewer, more relevant hashtags work better. Stuffing 20–30 random ones doesn’t magically boost reach Relevance matters more than the number.

I have never witnessed anything where the uses of many hash tags makes any significant difference. a couple of hash tags that truly matches with the video does the job in just the same manner.

I never use hastags, i just relly on the description, content quality matters

TikTok posting needs include of trend hashtags to get add on trend pages for views and engage, although adding of good caption does help in research outlist if profile gotten many followers to outstand other upload profiles.
