To avoid penalties, you should keep in mind that your content should not over promotional and should be of high quality. Links should not be spammy and it is advised to thoroughly review all submitions.
 
Do more research about unique idea contents which is people expecting target rate, Keep doing posting and follow the SEO algorithms
