Does google count links from website which has 0 trust and 0 backlinks. Basically newly created wordpress or any other web2.0 site (indexed) that has an article on it, and that article has few backlinks to your money site and authority sites. Now in google WMT those links are not shown, however the ones that has backlinks to them shows. So my question is - do google count-in those backlinks ? I use web2.0 only as an anchor diversity and wouldn't want to screw up the ratios.

My theory is that there's a slim chance that even tho those websites are indexed, google do not crawl outbound links of those web2.0, because they do not meet certain criteria.

What do you think ?

web 2 links do show up in gwt. even nofollow ones. yes they count.

All links count however those with poor metrics would hardly help improve your rankings. But you could build tiered links to them.

Well, no... Actually they don't show up, at least not within 2 months of placing them. For multiple of my websites.

Google counts all type of links, Authority and power of links is different.

They do get counted but not really effective as they dont have any lik juice to pass except the citation

Again and again, Quality over Quantity, that's what will help you rank.

If you think you can get thousand of links from new WP or Web 2.0 without any PR, Tf, CF, DA etc. then forget about it, you're wasting time and money.

I've stated in my first post that I use them only to diversify overall anchor ratio.

There is good and bad links by google.

They count them all no matter how good they are

you need to work harder at getting your links (pages) indexed if you're not seeing them in gwt. I build new websites all the time, and web 2 are ALWAYS part of the strategy. I can tell you I see web 2 links in GWT rapidly (within 2-3 weeks) because I know how to index pages rapidly, and keep them indexed (no not with just an indexing service alone).

They are indexed, but not showing in GWT.
