I've already got a product performing well elsewhere and want to run FB ads on it anonymously. I'm going to be using an ad account with a residential IP VPN, fake info and paying for the ads using a reloadable debit card or visa gift cards. Do facebook ask for ID verification at any stage?

I've watched a lot of fb ad courses and even worked as a project manager overseeing fb and google PPC, but I've never personally signed up for an fb ad account. I also haven't personally used facebook in 5 years. What should I watch out for, and what is the best way to sign up for an ad account (personal or business account?) I absolutely don't want to get banned.

You better get prepared getting banned. FB is very good in detecting fake activity.

Residential IP‘s only!
One Browser setup for your Fake Account

There actually so many triggers which can detect you fake identity.

But why you want to fake your identity? What are you selling?

They can ask face verification and id verification anytime and there is chance getting it back.

Acuatlly mostly time they deactivated ur account than please you to send ID. Most important is good warmup acc before doing any suspicious moves.

You have to make sure to make your personal Facebook account look very legit before running any ads. It´s important that you fill out everything in the personal information section and have friends and engage in content. Do that for a period of time, idk how long, the longer the better. Just think to yourself what a normal human being would do on Facebook, do that. Either way, I feel like Facebook´s algorithm for detecting suspicious activity is just way too sensitive and maybe your account will be disabled and you will have to upload a pic of yourself eventually.
