I know this is an odd question---but sometime I think, do they know that we are creating stealth and selling on their site? I think they should as so many open discussion and information on internet for everybody, so they must know it very well.
They force us to set up stealth because of many small to no reason for many people, they just close the account and force us to go for stealth!

Why they do not think of giving us a better platform to solve our problem and get back to ebay with our own account rather than stealth? May be they get some commission from the process we follow to create the stealth--who knows? They just want to earn more and more--in ether way!
What you think guys?

They're likely aware something is going on, but pinpointing that something with a near-confident degree of certainty is very difficult. As time goes on, I believe Amazon and eBay will both attempt to implement more layers of security and verification protocols, but I suspect they will only succeed in driving away those that are entirely unaware as the whole process will only become more complicated and tedious.

i'm sure many sites have ways of tracking users besides cookies. Some we know, some we do not. It is always best to be on the safe side :-)

They probably do, but it's such a small percentage of their users using those tactics it's probably not worth pursuing.

They know... They just don't care a whole lot. They actively shut people down, but not with the effort they could put forth if they chose to. I live right down the street from an ebay/paypal call center, and I always thinking about getting a job there to learn all the inside info.. ;)

of course they know about stealth and every day is a game of cat and mouse between the stealth accounts and ebay
