Do downvotes in Reddit, reduce ranking in Google?

Only thing that matters to Google is if the page is crawlable and has engagement.

Google mostly looks at the content’s relevance, backlinks, and engagement signals like traffic or link quality.

Do downvotes in Reddit, reduce ranking in Google?
Not directly. Reddit downvotes affect visibility on Reddit, but Google mostly cares about backlinks, content quality, and engagement. However, if a Reddit post gets buried, it’s less likely to generate traffic or backlinks, so indirectly, it might have a small impact.

No, Reddit downvotes don’t directly affect your Google rankings. Google looks more at backlinks, relevance, content quality, and authority, not how many upvotes or downvotes a Reddit post gets. Anyway, heavily downvoted posts might get less visibility, which means fewer clicks and links, indirectly affecting SEO.

No, I do not think there is a correlation between downvotes and ranking bad on Google

Most people here may not be aware of it but Google considers platform metrics like likes, shares, comments, upvotes, downvotes, claps, etc. as part of on-page SEO. So, if you get a lot of downvotes, that's poor on-page SEO. Google wants to rank top Reddit pages liked and promoted by their own community instead of a heavily downvoted post with a ton of spammy backlinks. So, yes... downvotes kick your post out of SERPs.
