Crazy enough, these kind of questions are debated a lot in cognitive science classes in most Schools of Computing. I mean, comparing computers to animals.
Comparing a dogs brain to a computer... something that we did. Was quite interesting.
Of course we took a deeper approach, rather than using facts like 'because it ripped my face off at 2 years old, does it have a brain'. what else do you think is in there lady?
