Do datinggold shave??

Probably some , i guess there isn't really a network which would not shave ...

They don't shave. Clicks are simply missed, variables are endless.

Yup or at least you will wait for money like 4 months...

on my pay pr. paid member i have a much higher click to free member ration than on pay pr. free member, its really ridicolous, the same banner one converst 1/40 the other 1/250.

Hello, this is Jay and I am the affiliate rep over at Dating Gold.

I can assure you we do not shave. Our stats system runs on NATS by Too Much Media and is updated in real time. You see exactly what we see, at the exact same time. Feel free to test this out, do a test sign-up.

We do a lot of pixel placing and post back URLs on conformation pages for webmasters who are concerned about issues like this. So yeah, I can assure you there is no shaving involved and if you "think" you're being cheated, there are methods to check for this, let us set a pixel for you.

So where is the proof of us shaving anyone?

You really wanna get into this? I witnessed it. More questions?

We pay out on the 5th and 20th of each month. The only reason a payment is ever put on hold is to check the validity of the traffic sent. If your account is considered fraud or you may possibly be generating your own sales, then yes a hold will be put on the account for us to check things out more sufficiently. If everything is ok with the account, then you're payed.

Surely you can see this from our standpoint and why we sometimes have to check things just to be safe?

The amount of fraudulent webmasters attempting to cheat us is astronomical, just like any program in this market. For every great, honest affiliate there are five others out there trying to pull a fast one on us.

If you're having issues, just feel free to get in touch with me. I'll look into more for you and find out what could possibly be the problem. I posted my email for anyone to ask anything. :)

I haven't seen dating gold shave at all, but they sure do a hell of a lot of commission reversals. I've since stopped promoting them on all my dating sites because if they're going to reverse my legit traffic, then they're not going to get any promotion from me. No other dating site except AFF does this so often. Its really irritating to lose a legitimate $900

I will not try to argue with you or call you a liar. There are two sides to every story and I am not about to start any drama. I can easily come in and say "xxxxxxx program" is shaving and I saw it with my own eyes. I don't know your situation specifically or if it is even valid or a million other possible variables that could be involved. Once again, I'm not trying to be a prick to you, just saying. You have chosen not to promote us anyways, which is fine and obviously your choice. :) Wish you the best with whoever you are promoting.

Dating Gold has been in business for 6 years now and just took home the Xbiz 2009 Dating Program of the Year.

And last but not least, we can work with you and do things like postback URLs and such to make sure everything is fair.

Dating Gold has been in business for 6 years now and just took home the Xbiz 2009 Dating Program of the Year. Like I stated before though, do some research on NATS that we use for our stats. Straight from their website: "Trusted by affiliates and relied upon by some of the largest programs in the industry, NATS is an excellent solution for both new and existing affiliate programs."

And last but not least, we can work with you and do things like postback URLs and such to make sure everything is fair.

I know what NATS is, but this is the first time I've ever heard a DG employee say they use NATS. What year was the transition to NATS made? You could call me a liar but my first DG affiliate ID was in the 200's. I worked at DatingGold in the office and witnessed the SHAVING firsthand and could probably get 3-4 other people to come to this thread to verify they saw it too. Now.. back to your promotion of DatingGold.....

We integrate with NATS to work with other NATS programs. We did integrate with NATS for our whitelabel solutions.

You can say what you want to say, thats fine with me. If you guys want to promote us, cool, if not that's cool too.

No worries either way. :)

I was just sent to this thread from one of my good ol' affiliates so I thought I would try and help out, not here to argue, haha.

Saying an affiliate doesn't shave is a straight lie. They shave to stay in business and to at least safeguard their bums from people who use VCC-scams or whatever methods are out there.
I get upset when I see people on this forum trying to pull a fraud off like that; ultimately it will hurt the people who actually sends over REAL customers, and those REAL customers will not convert for us because the aff-network shaves them off our statspage.

try to use an usa ip(proxy/socks) and make an registration under your affiliate url. and you'll see that it won't appear. and it's not about the proxy/socks filters. it's about shaving ;)
