I got a warning in Dec. 31 2020 for community guidelines because i was promoting a like exchange site and someone flagged my referral link into the video description, the rest 99% of my channel is white hat though. does anyone know if this disappears after 6 months or will it stay as a warning until i die?

strikes get removed after 90 days.. try to remove cache or login from a different browser

copyright strikes are removed after 6 months, not 90 days, and it's not a browser cache issue lol... now community guidelines strikes are a different story and they don't even say anything about if they expire or not, plus this is not a strike, it's a warning, so when does the warning disappear is the actual question.

lol.. i had a copyright strike and it was removed after 90 days not 6 months

per Youtube : "strike will remain on your channel for 90 days."
it used to be 6 months at some point i am pretty sure, now if they changed it, ok, but still i am talking about community guidelines, not copyright. so you are out of topic nonetheless.

The very first strike that you receive on your channel, whether a community guidelines or copyright strike, will turn into a warning and would not count as a strike.

You only get this warning once and it never expires. That notification will always remain there in the dashboard to let you know that you've "used up" the warning.

@OP this is very correct. That warning will not go away. It will remain forever
