Do .com.ar domains rank at all on google USA?

I can get all the .com.ar domains I want with good keywords, but the question is: Will they work for SEO purposes?

I want them for CPA, so they should rank in google.

Dude I live in Argentina, and trust me, they don't rank at all.

Well, my only .com.ar domain seems to be ranking really well in bing, but nothing else, I randomly get one or two visitors from google.. but in general the 200 vistors a day I get all come from bing..
