Hello. I have a health website. I'm getting requests for a CBD guest post. Why don't most websites accept CBD guest posts? Are CBD guest posts hurting SEO?

It's not a legal. CBD has been accepted in a few countries. It is against the law in most countries. Google doesn't always help people who do things that are against the law. Webmasters are worried about it due to this.

Thanks

Should not be too hard to do automatic rewrites of posts :-) That way those 3 words won't ever make it onto the site

Cbd sites are spammed sites so are casino , smm and followers and like seller sites. Nothing to with legality of cbd but the spam toxicity that it will bring to your site is the cause it can hurt your website overall including seo.
So stay clear of cbd.

In addition to the other reasons mentioned here, some hosting providers have issues with this sort of content.

It does not hurting anything

Cannabis related content is not allowed in many countries. If you run a health related website the publishing cannabis articles will not be ideal match with your rest of the site.

This category is considered as restricted (just like gambling, tobacco, drugs, adults, etc.) so ideally you should avoid publishing such articles even if they offer you good money. In long run your site will be affected if you do that.

Actually, it will not affect the SEO much. It's about legal issues in a few countries.

As this industry is restricted, it is challenging for us to get posted on many of the sites
Now there is some liberalization, so the industry is gaining momemtum

PRNEWS.IO - this platform can open us to many hight authprity sites, where we can place guest posts related to this niche

As members said, it is not legalized in many countries and there are many sites accept CBD related backlinks

Why don't you do the search by yourself about CBD sites and see if they are being SEO penalized?

Even fricking research/paper sites, host a ton of information about such topic
https://www.researchgate.net/public...atients_with_schizophrenia_A_narrative_reviewObviously if you are planning to step your guest posts into the next silk road then you might probably face not only SEO issues but legal issues. But I cannot see how CBD informational content can hurt SEO
Not even casino or erotic / even pr0n information.

Another thing is that you literally are a casino, a pr0n site, or selling drugs openly as in a marketplace.
