Do carousels still perform better than Reels?

I think it also depends on the audience. Of course, short videos are more popular right now because they’re fast-paced and quick to watch. But good carousel posts can still go viral. Plus, if someone is just scrolling through their feed or the Explore page, both reels and carousels can show up at the top. It’s only when a user browses strictly through the Reels tab that carousels won’t appear. In the end, good content will trend no matter what format it’s in.
