Do bought YT views increase view time if views get dropped?

If you buy YT views to a video but the views get dropped after a few days, does the total view time also decrease?
I ask because i need to increase the total view time to my channel to remain monetized before the deadline comes in, in a couple of weeks. But if i pay for views to increase the total view time but the views get dropped will i then loose the increased view time?
