If you write a carefully balanced article with the perfect keyword density can comments made after the article is posted dilute your density and impact your SEO?

i think that yes cause google spider don't stop to scan your page after the end of your post

Yes, but if the comments are related to your content they should give your page and subsequently your entire site more authority which is more powerful than having perfect keyword density in a single article, IMO.

Don't worry too much about keyword density, the fact that real people are leaving comments on your site and interacting with your content would be much more beneficial than the small percentage you lose on keyword density.

Comments on your site can only benefit you. Don't sweat the keyword density factor - Google is smarter than you think.

Don't focus too much on keyword density. As long as the comments are coming in from actual viewers, it shows Google that your site is interesting enough for real people to engage themselves in a discussion on it. Engagement > keyword density.

I don't think so. Google is smart enough to tell what your page is about, so it can rank high for your desired keywords. Moreover, some of the comments might contain those keywords too.

Unless they're spam.

OP, one thing I would mention is that you should try to only approve comments that are in good English and have very little spelling/grammatical errors in them. I have read that Google values how well written the content of a page is and uses that in their algorithm signals.

In as much as it can hurt your KW density, it's really only a small amount. For one thing, you would have to be getting many/long comments for it to be that marked a difference, and that many comments would bring far more in terms of traffic than you'd lose for KW density. For another, much of the time those comments will feature the keywords anyway, by mere dint of the fact that they are about the same subject matter. Overall, a lot of comments is good news for your site, not least because people will come back to read responses to their comments, and more comments beget more traffic.

yes absolutely, although yours will still weight more because of placement (top of page). don't post on spam blogs with no comment moderation.

Interesting question. I feel that since the comments are being placed naturally by the people, you should not be worrying about the keyword density.

HI mate, what if I just make it 'no index' to all comments. Is it make sense rather then dizzy to check entire each of the comment grammatical error?

Fresh content is king. And that,s what the comments are. Of course,don't approve just any comment. Make sure they are not spam and they are gramatically correct written.

Hi Friends,

You are right my friend... "Content is the king of SEO".....According to my suggestion... You can do blog comments, It will increase your visitors... but you should comment in your relevant site. For example., Weather your site is travel oriented website. You Could search travel blogs and according to the post you could share a related information and give a link to your profile name.

Note:
The profile name should not your keyword.
And Don't Concentrate with do follow links only... Try to mix with No-follow blog comments also.....
