Refer to the software you are interested in. Most of them are designed to be used on vps which you can run from a mac too I guess.

gsa is for windows
facedominator is also for windows
and i would need to buy vps to use this right on mac but i don't really know how this work i am new to mac

There is at least one that I know of being sold here that works on the Mac.
You'd have to ask the seller of whatever software you're interested in to be sure, though.

use parallels or VirtualBox to run windows inside your mac.
Problem solved?
I have been on windows ever since I started using laptops, I am soon going to shift to macbook air and this is what I am going to do.

You should use a VPS anyways for most tools at it allows them to run 24/7, and it doesn't screw with your everyday stuff if you're using your computer for other things than SEO. A VPS is cheap. I run my stuff from a Windows VPS via my Macbook Pro -- works like f-ing charm.

Just buy a cheap VPS. Hardly anything will run on a Mac.

purely depends on your mac. most of softwares are not compatible with mac.

There is really not many programs that run on mac due to it not being as popular, virtualbox or vmware is somewhat of a solution but getting a VPS allows you to be always on with the programs and much faster internet connections.

Virtualbox or Vmware running windows is going to be a pretty poor experience compared to a decent VPS if you don't have a higher end mac desktop or laptop.

This is not true even a little bit. Mac's OS is totally different than windows and always has been. No matter what Mac you own, it will not run Windows programs natively.

I just recently got my Windows VPS setup and I run it through my Mac with no issues. I don't have parallels or any other windows program setup on my Mac, just download the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac and log into your VPS. Once on your VPS (if not installed already on your Server) download Net 4.5, Microsoft Office, and Adobe (so you can make PDF's/XPS files).

Yes, most of software are not compatible for mac, and Most BLACKHAT Softwares are not ready for mac yet.

Thanks

Nothing works on a Mac. SEO software is some of the most obscure software around with small dev teams. Why would they waste money making Mac versions so one or two guys can use their MacBook lol? The fact that somebody would ask this raises flags since everybody who has been doing SEO for more than a few weeks uses VPS or other virtual machines due to virus, etc.
