Even though Google’s official documentation mentions penalties for low-quality backlinks, in my experience, I wouldn’t stress over a few bad links — especially if they’re mixed in with a strong, natural-looking backlink profile.

I wouldn’t recommend actively building poor links, but if you have a small percentage of them among quality ones, I wouldn’t waste time disavowing every single one. That said, if your entire link profile is full of spammy or irrelevant backlinks, it can hurt your rankings.
