Do backlinks with no traffic work?

So there has been debate on whether backlinks without traffic is bad. I was kinda worried, but then again people had opposing views. I'm not sure who is the right one. So after a month of placing about 6 backlinks this is the result of 0 traffic backlinks through niche edit. 1 was a guestpost but not really relevant and it had 4 traffic lol.

So they do work, but let's just say the ones with traffic is even sweeter but you gotta pay top dollar for that.

Yes. They do work. Backlinks with zero traffic also works. But backlinks with traffic are of more quality. But backlinks with negative trusted websites are of waste and it's like holding a bomb in our own hands.
 
Of course they work, many such sellers are selling such services.
 
There are SEO backlinks, that do not themselves have traffic but can contribute to improving ranking so your site or page gets search engine traffic. Then there are backlinks form sites with millions of visitors per month, through which your site can get click-through or referral traffic. And there are backlinks that can provide both.
 
Yes, 0 traffic backlinks work perfectly fine, if you can get a backlink with traffic and good stats, then it's just double win.
 
Why should backlinks with no traffic be good?
If a link has no traffic, then it is not good enough in google eyes.. or am I looking at this wrong?
 
Backlinks from websites with "zero traffic" is fine and will work to some degree (depends on the website obviously.) The idea that backlinks from websites with traffic are better comes from the general understanding that a website with traffic looks a lot more natural and more trustworthy in the eyes of search engines rather than a dead website with random guest-posts.
 
a backlink is a baclink and it will pass link juice

we can only argue that how much or less link juice it can pass.
 
Why should sites that have no traffic be good for what?
