Backlinks with clicks = yes.

Otherwise it wont provide much boost.

I bought dofoll0w link from jpost, ibtimes, yet my ranking just move a bit.

Instead, I bought links from 5-7 sites with dr 60-70 a lot cheaper but generate clicks -> to my site.

My ranking instantly boost.

Because G need clicks for it to analyze & collecting user experience data, to compare with other sites that target the same topic.

Backlinks are necessary for ranking your pages. Yes, they can come naturally if you don't build them on your own.

Yes they really worth, For example: I publish an article 2 weeks ago, it was low competetive KW. And dancing 49 to 53 position. But yesterday I have taken a link from niche related site and now its in 4th position.

Backlinks are the most important ranking factor.
There are tons of sites ranking good on most difficult keywords having no content / shitty on-page SEO.
But hey has tons of strong backlinks.

Pages will rank for keywords and quality content if that is useful or solving a problem without a backlink. But guest posts and backlinks provide a catalyst and improve from better to best or normal to above normal, also you can get link juices from these if they are at high DR radar.
