Do backlinks from forums still worthy?

Hi there,

Making a test I tried to find out whether forum signatures and on post links are still worthy. I created a blogspot blog, added some original content and placed a link on a related forum. Here the results, the blog was indexed quickly, however the crawler is not indexing the rest of the blog pages. Moreover, It is not even found by placing the complete url on Google search box, only using the site command.

Is this means the link was worthless?

Are you still having success on link signatures on forums?

Signatures are great... once you can use them. Of course beyond helping search, you get lots of traffic.

Because you must be doing it wrong. Yes it does work and yes I'm enjoying rankings for many keywords for the top 1-5 spot as we speak.

I track everything.. so trust me when I say it works.

I believe Google does not take into account signature links for link juice. However, if you guys can prove it. Go ahead.

Ok, to convince me PROVE IT!! Tell me a keyphrase in which your site is ranked. I will track the back links to make sure they are forum links.

Some people are still getting results many are not though. The ones that are still being successful must have there own little twist.

One of my comments got scrapped and added to several forums. Got 1 PR 3 and 1 PR 1 backlink from them. Link strength went up .13 die to them. Not much but I also, did nothing for it.

Link strength? How/where do you calculate that?

profile links is not effective. forum post with related keyword(title ,post content,anchor) is still useful.
