Hey everyone,
It seems like educational or value driven posts don’t perform as well as quick, funny, or trendy ones anymore. Feeds are full of short entertainment clips instead of real insights.

Do you think audiences still want informative content, or is entertainment the new way to stay relevant?

Curious to hear your take.

it depends on your audience. If you're targeting new gens, then go with quick, funny, or trendy ones, focus on TikTok, reels, or shorts. If you're targeting a mature audience, then go with an educational/value-driven content, like financial literacy, health awareness, etc.

People still care about learning but the way it is shared has changed because short engaging stories or quick relatable clips grab attention more than long explanations now

attention span is dead, people want it now. there is still a need for learning so depending on what you would want to teach you can still get okay traction if it is very valuable / quality content, but you could also space the same concept out into 5 / 10 short videos instead of a long form and check if it performs better than a similar long form

There are certainly audiences that still respond very well to useful, educational or in depth social media posts. Of course, it's not everyone, but when was it everyone anyway?
