Do article sites really get readers?

I have a very small niche website that is focused on just one specific video game. While I did start getting downloads from my website as it has some cheats on it for that game, I have not received a single reply on any of my articles regarding that video game.

I suppose it's normal as most people just want very focused and concrete material, but I can't help but feel a bit down by it.

Do you get engagement of interest outside simply things like services, products and downloads? My website is really as an enthusiastic player of that game, profit is not my main goal here.

You have to have tens of thousands of monthly visitors for one or two to leave a comment. And try getting into their shoes. You go to a website, you find something to download, then what? You stay to chat and tell the owner how great of a website they have or do you leave and try your game?

Exactly this. One of our blog posts has been viewed 11,069 times avg spend on that post 4min... It has 6 comments from readers LOL

People don't comment directly on blogs to often anymore.

Most of that stuff happens on social media nowadays.

how long your blog about video games? I think don't worry about a comment on the website, but people comment on social media in the story of Instagram or post-Instagram.
