Do anyone try EMD penalized domain redirect to not EMD ?

Yes tried myself cant be 100% sure that my EMD site's demise were not related to the recent penguin / panda updates, but looks like penalty passed over to the new sites i tried a 301 redirect on

My other website which is 1 year old (EMD) and over 20 pages with unique content 500 words - Survived ! But penalized website have EMD 10 pages and less then 2 months old ! I will try to add over 30 Pages content and see whats happen !

301 redirects from a penalized EMD to a non penalized tend to have a hit or miss success rate. I have seem them work in the past though.
