Do Amazon short links get a penalty from Google

Hi,

I can't seem to find this information online. My question is does an Amazon affiliate short link (provided by Amazon) cause a google penalty, or does google consider it "cloaked?" It's against Amazons TOC's to cloak links, but Google ranks you down for affiliate links, does this cover both issues?

No you wont get penalized for it. Just nofollow all your affiliate links.

So if I have 50 amazon affiliate links on a page with 2000 words there will be no penalty? Is it possible to have a pages full of just content that drive to an affiliate page that you can flag not to be ranked by google?

not at all google not penalized if you use short links or anything else.

Will I get a penalty for not having enough content surround my amazon links? How many words per link would you think?
