Do Amazon know?

Hi there,

i just asked myself if amazon knows where traffic is come from?
I signed up to Amazon Affiliate Program and get asked where is traffic come from, but just now i want to send them traffic from another website. Will they Ban my Aff Amazon Account when i send them traffic from another source?

They will catch your original source of traffic no matter what you do. I tried to trick them so many times thru so many different ways and they caught me all the time.

You have to show correct website where the traffic is coming and going to amazon (correct referer). From where you get the traffic to your site they don`t care as long as you don`t send it directly to amazon (spamming forums, blog comments and similar source). There are ways to trick like having a correct site and creating doorway pages to send or redirect the traffic through.

As long as you send the traffic through your website which links to Amazon (and send it with same referer) you`re ok. Also don`t use their default link with iframe cause with that link they can see the real traffic to your site.
