I am very new in the concept of aged domains. I know it's a very dumb question but I just wanted to make sure. When I purchase an aged domain, does that mean that when I build a website around it, if somebody tries to see how old is my website, they will always get the answer that the website is aged because of the domain?

I want to build a website that will seem like it was active in 2020 for example. If I purchase an aged domain and build my website on that domain, will my goal be accomplished? Also is this the case with expired domains as well? Or is that any different.

If aged domains is the solution for my problem, can anybody please explain to me how I can acquire them?

The problem with that approach is that if they check Wayback Machine they might see how the site looked back in 2020 by searching for it there.

If you need an old domain, check actions and marketplaces. If you buy an expired domain it shows as new from the date you buy it. So it important to buy a domain that is not expired.

Understandable thank you very much, can you recommend me a website for old domains?

A lot of internet users don't know that though, if you're ok with not fooling everyone it can work. The perfect way is to find an aged domain that had a site that suits your purposes, and rebuild it.

Normally no one would care about this, but if someone checks the domain's registration date, they will find that it has been registered for a longer time. Even if the content is new

Old domain names usually refer to domain names that have been registered for a long time and have a history of website establishment. However, expired domain names refer to domain names that have lost their registration qualifications due to failure to renew on time. Compared with expired domain names, old domain names are more suitable for creating new websites and feel more stable. You can purchase old domain names on the domain name registration platform.

If you pick up an aged domain that has not dropped and has a clean history that is relevant to the site you intend to build, it can do the trick, even if somebody goes to check Wayback history, because in that scenario it will look like the site was revamped but not necessarily repurposed. However, when if somebody wants to dig deeper, they can check DNS as well as whois information and infer that there was a change in ownership and probably the in the business that was originally running the site.

But generally speaking, from both an SEO and business standpoint an aged domain can certainly give you the advantage of having an established asset supporting your new project and help your site look "older" if done right.
