Someone told me that once you start boosting posts or running ig ads that your organic growth/engagement will die as ig wants you to keep paying for boosts and ads. Is there any truth to this? Would i better off trying to buy shoutouts from larger accounts in the niche?

Paid ads are definitely good to have an image among your target market fast.

im not in any way a knowledgeable person on this matter, but thinking logically, this cannot be true, with ads you get more engagement with your content, thus the algorithm learns that this is a content that is liked by users, so it pushes it, maybe just a bit. but it will not just stop organic traffic fro your acc.
