Do 301 Redirects still work

im about to be buying some more links for my niche website, and was thinking maybe about 301 redirects? do they still work well?
Be cautious about buying links or using fancy tricks like 301 redirects for a quick boost. It might work briefly, but you could get into trouble. Stick to getting good, natural links for lasting success

I don't think 301 redirects for the links you brought is a good idea. If you are re directing the links just to pass the link juice, you might need to buy more links with more authority rather that this redirecting thing.

Make sure to check purchasing links are relevant to your niche because it may harm your website
using too may 301 redirects from low quality website may end up in red flags with search engine

Using only 301 redirects for link building could get you penalized by search engines, it's safer to focus on getting good backlinks naturally.

Based on my knowledge,301 redirects are still effective, But you should use them in right way to guide the right content for both user and google search engine.

Redirects can pass some link juice to the target page, the quality and relevance of the link matters. Simply redirecting low-quality or irrelevant pages won't necessarily improve your site. Creating valuable content and building Links from High Authorities sites its Works for long-term success.

Stick to authority clean domains with relevant niche anchors and you'll get really good results,
Niche & anchors relevancy play a major role recently for the 301s, plain 301s from random domains doesn't work as good as they used to,

Also, make sure to implement the 301 correctly, this is a starting guide:
