DNS Leak with mobile proxies?

Is it even possible for mobile proxies to leak DNS?

Bought a monthly package with a certain proxy site and some of their mobile proxies give me a DNS leak, which makes me think that they are doing monkey business to begin with and are selling dedicated/residential proxies instead but I can't be sure completely. When I check the Operator then it verifies the IP as Vodafone, Three (major 4G networks) but can't be sure as somehow I had an impression that mobile proxies shouldn't leak DNS to begin with (might be wrong here).

Any thoughts?

Sure it's possible. When there's a misconfig in their system. For example they accept connections on a VPS, and use residential proxy backend, and they do DNS resolution on the vps, (here leak happens!) and send resolved IP's to the backend.
 
Yes, it is possible for sure. This is why you should always try the trial version before and make a decision after testing the proxies. There are many sellers in the marketplace area, and most of them also provide trials. You can search in the marketplace. Alternatively, you can post in the "Want to Buy" section and someone would ping you for sure.

It is, nothing is fool proof, thats why if you can get a trial
it can help you to test out a sellers product .
 
Any good proxies schouldnt leak DNS. And it is okay for a lot of usecases, and its matter of how they configurate it.
In general what ISP says about your public ip in a checker is true. (make sure that you yse diffierent ones because some might have not up to date db)

But anyway, surelly better go with propper ones.
 
Use socks5 port, that's the whole purpose for why socks5 exists
