Alright so I have a domain that I wanted to point to a new server and go live with a new site. I changed it and now it doesnt work. Sometimes it does shote and sometimes it does show and sometimes it doesnt...

I originally had this at hostmonster where the domain was pointing at their ns1 and ns2 records.

Lastnight we moved it to our new NS1 and NS2records...

The site has Propagated all over the place and the report shows good status in 100% of the Territories. However the site will not show on my laptop and It will on my iPhone phone and iPad...

I have Cleared my cache and yet it still not showing...

Am I missing another Record or something... A hidden NS records, Maybe my ip needs to be in their somwhere...

Any help, advice or solution's would be huge! Im pissed that I cant figure this out.....

Cheers!

DNS is one of my expertise area being a web host for years so it will be my pleasure to help you with the issues.
If your new web host given you nameservers and you entered them already then please donot worry atleast for first 48 hours and that is dns propagation time if you donot want to put your domain in thread send it via pm i will check if anything i find issue in dns settings.

Again say no worries here in BHW many people are here and ready to help you :)

it can take up to 3 days for the DNS to totally change over. that is why you see your site sometimes and other times do not. Just make sure the values are correct and then don''t bother with it. you can always browse as ipaddresshere/usernamehere/websitefolderhere to see changes you are making

Even you can ask your web host to check via intodns.com to make sure there is no dns problem if they says too its all ok, then just wait for atleast 48 hrs once dns propagated it shall no more give you any problem related to DNS atleast.

Did you set the proper records in your domain managing account with your webhost? If not, you can contact them and ask them to check to see if the proper DNS records are set up.. I'm not sure but I think you need A/B records pointing to your domain with the proper IP(s) as well.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the Advise and Help! Turns out that it just needed time... :) I was a little to quick. It is now working all over the place and on all devices.

Cheers again for all the help!
